Miss Drawn

// short film

Miss Drawn follows Toronto-based architect Reena Mistry as she combines mindfulness and artistic practice through her distinctive ink drawings.

From her earliest memories of sketching her mother’s flowers to her practice of capturing strangers lost in their daily routines, Mistry embraces the concept of Wabi-Sabi – finding beauty in imperfection.

Through intimate observations of her creative process, the permanence of ink on paper becomes a metaphor for life itself. As she fills her notebooks with honest, unedited observations, Mistry reveals how being mindful about your relationship to time can be transformative.
